The care and treatment was beyond my expectations. A hard working team who were sensitive to individual needs. Forever grateful.

Awful care to my family member from awful staff in ward 17. Observed staff commenting on other patients and laughing and also observed clearly inexperienced staff dealing with abusove patients and not in a very professional manner.

I arrived into ward 15 acute admissions, whilst the staff were extremely busy I received good care. Then I was transferred to ward 3 & all the staff were very caring however I would like to point out that staff nurse Jenny Cameron was excellent & nothing was too much trouble for her,she went out of her way to help & not just with myself but all the patients,we could do with a lot more nurses like her. Also she was working with a student nurse called Cara McGhee who was also very helpful & went out of her way to help all the patients. Yours truthfully Mrs Mandy Seaton.

While at Ninewells receiving surgery for cancer I found the staff to be hard working, kind, extremely caring and helpful.

I have been waiting for surgery since I was first diagnosed with gallstones in August 2014. The process of getting he surgery was lengthy and very intransparent, information was hard to come by and I sometimes waited for weeks. In the end, I got in when another patient cancelled, and everything was very last minute and unplanned, despite the wait. The team in Ninewells was very friendly and organized, from the nurse who welcomed me personally to the ward to the fact that I was in theatre two hours later, after having spoken to all doctors and having had all tests. The doctors were great and professional and the surgery went well. The nursing team looked after me with great care, despite being busy. They made sure I was comfortable and okay and helped me any time I asked, I could not have wished for a better team. A big thank you for all.

I was in HDU for 3 weeks after major surgery, I could not say a bad word about my care it was to a very high standard. The nurses and doctors work very hard to make everyone relax, they have a difficult job to do. I had read lots of negitive reviews before going in to nine wells but nothing could be further from the truth. I am now back at work and feel 100 percent. Thank you to all the staff who got me through a very hard time. ( triple A repair ).

I had a recent visit to A&E following an accident at home. Seen very quickly by a nurse who recognised that I was in pain and immediately organised pain relief. Soon seen by a courteous and competent junior doctor who organised an x-ray. Radiographer was considerate to my difficulties in movement. Seen and examined by consultant who discussed results of x-rays and arranged further medication. My GP then referred me for a Bone Scan and follow up. This happened within a few weeks. All care courteous and competent. Hospital clean and well organised.

I had a six night stay in ninewells to have my baby in June 2014. I was induced, then had a C section. The staff were fantastic throughout. Very supportive of my wishes during labour, - I wanted to be as mobile as possible in a quiet, dark, cool room with my own music and items from home. After the birth staff continued to be very professional and caring, especially helpful and supportive of my choice to breast feed. I'd heard some bad things and wasn't looking forward to going to ninewells to have my baby. The whole experience was very positive. The best part are the staff. Breakfast were a bit dull, (but then, it's not a hotel!) lunches fine, and dinners were very good. Soup especially so! I could find fault with the toilets which were not always spotlessly clean.

I found the hospital and reception staff very helpful in their directions to the clinic I had to attend. The hospital was very bright and airy. I was looked after very well on the three times I had to attend. I did like the small outside area were I sat for a cup of tea and sandwich, also the bus stop impressed me.
